Laurence Page is a leading commercial, competition and infrastructure barrister. He specialises in high value litigation and international arbitrations which raise complex economic, financial and technical issues.
Current and recent work includes:
• Prof Stephan v Amazon (£2.7bn opt-out claim brought on behalf of UK retailers on the Amazon marketplace)
• Eden Alpha v Plus500 (£100m s.90 FSMA claim)
• Road Haulage Association v various (£500m opt-in claim brought on behalf of owners of used trucks)
• Skatteforvaltningen v Solo Capital Partners LLP (£1.5 bn fraud dispute)
• Boyle v Govia Thameslink (£500m opt-out claim relating to pricing of the London to Brighton mainline trains).
• Other claims concern the ownership of race horses, theft of the world’s largest sausage making machine, the theft of an Azerbaijani sturgeon farm, and disputed ownership of a (big) fish tank.
