Recent instructions include acting for a number of banks in the high-profile “tuna bond” proceedings arising out of allegations of fraud and bribery in Mozambique; acting for a City law firm in relation to claims arising out of the hacking of a businessman’s emails; acting for a reinsurance broker in relation to proceedings in London and Florida arising out of a fatal plane crash; acting for Chinese banks in a $700 million claim against the Indian businessman Anil Ambani; acting for individuals and corporate defendants in the Avonwick proceedings between Ukrainian oligarchs; a £637 million fraud claim by Slater & Gordon (UK) Limited against Watchstone Group plc; and acting for the owner of the London Stadium in respect of claims by West Ham United.
