Klaus Dimigen advises shipowners regarding the sale and purchase of vessels and the entering into charter and management contracts. He assists banks and shipowners in the area of long term ship financing loans, the establishment and separation of banking syndicates related thereto and in connection with the termination, enforcement and transfer of shipping loans. He also supports shipowners on all corporate and insolvency related issues. Finally, he advises non bank capital providers in connection with alternative ship financing models and structures.
Klaus Dimigen enjoys a long lasting relationship with Turkish shipowners and shipping banks. Further, he is admitted to practice in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. He provides opinion letters related to this jurisdiction, gives advice on corporate matters and pursues contentious matters at the High Court in Majuro, Marshall Islands.
Klaus Dimigen has held various lectures and seminars for clients on selected legal topics.
