Khatiya has more than a decade of experience providing legal advice to local and international clients on Administrative Law, Commercial, Special Economic Zones, Telecommunications and IT.

She has guided Fortune 500 companies in the apparel, telecommunications and construction industries to set up operations in Panama. Also advises regularly in commercial transactions and real estate matters.

Khatiya has participated in high level corporate and financial transactions, including one of the most complex corporate restructuring cases in Latin America, in which our firm provided the necessary legal platform to safeguard the operational continuity of one of Panama's most emblematic retail companies, and preventing the costliest bankruptcy proceeding ever to be initiated in Panama.
