Career

Kessaven is a Barrister-at-Law. He joined the firm in 2017. He currently holds the position of a senior associate at Uteem Chambers. Kessaven regularly represents clients in front of Mauritius courts, tribunals and committees in relation to employment, tax, civil and corporate litigations.

Kessaven is regularly called upon to advise on civil, corporate and banking matters involving international banks, financial institutions and other multinational corporations. He drafts and advises on finance and security documents, conducts due diligence on Mauritius entities and issues legal opinions.

Education: Post Graduate Diploma Bar Professional Training Studies at University of the West of England in Bristol, United Kingdom in 2016 and LLB (Honors) at Middlesex University (Mauritius Branch) in 2014.
