Career

Dilruba is a Barrister-at Law. She joined the firm in 2010. Since December 2023 she holds the positions of partner and director at Uteem Chambers. She regularly advises and issues legal opinions on corporate finance, guarantee, structured finance, project finance, trade finance, venture capital, debt and corporate restructuring matters, general company law and corporate matters involving global business entities, international banks, financial institutes and other multinational corporations.

Dilruba was called to the Mauritian Bar in September 2016; She was called to the Dhaka Bar, Bangladesh in August 2008; She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn in November 2006. Since 2024 she also holds the position of a non-executive Director at UC Solutions Ltd which is a duly licensed management company in Mauritius (www.ucsolu.com).
