Kerry Miller is a partner in the firm’s litigation section. Kerry tried both the longest civil and criminal trials in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. In 2017, he tried a 47 count RICO case. In 2013, Kerry spent four months in a complex civil trial involving multiple parties and claims which resulted in a finding of no responsibility for his client.

Kerry has tried a broad spectrum of claims including products liability, breach of contract, redhibition, unfair trade practices, Jones Act, civil and criminal RICO and civil and criminal provisions of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and the Oil Pollution Act.

Kerry gained unique complex litigation experience as the appointed lead counsel in the BP oil spill MDL, Chinese Drywall MDL and Hurricane Katrina related environmental litigation. Kerry has litigated all types of jurisdictional, discovery and evidentiary issues, which are reflected in more than a hundred reported decisions. Kerry has also developed expertise in environmental, industrial failure, construction, commercial litigation, insurance coverage and construction matters.
