Practice Areas
Ken-Ying Tseng specializes in mergers and acquisitions, personal data protection, artificial intelligence (such as autonomous vehicles), e-commerce, Internet governance, telecommunications, fintech, OTT, e-payment, P2P lending, domain names, e-signature, on-line game, cybersecurity, e-trading, ICP, MOD, cable TV, satellite TV and any other matters involving digital or digitalization. Ken-Ying also advises clients on corporate and foreign direct investment matters, general compliance, offshore and onshore listing, employment, and pharmaceutical-related matters, etc.
Career
Ken-Ying joined Lee and Li in 1999 and was made partner in 2006. She led the firm's M&A practice for more than 12 years after she was made partner and established Lee and Li's personal data protection practice group in 2012. She now heads the firm's Digital, TMT and Data Privacy Practice.
Meanwhile, due to her professional skills and reputation, Ken-Ying acts many other roles for the Taiwan government, international organizations, and the civil society. She represents Taiwan government at ICANN GAC and a Member- Civil Society Representative, "Open Government National Action Plan Taskforce", Executive Yuan, Taiwan. She is the co-chair of the Technology Committee of European Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (ECCT), a member of the Digital Economy Commission, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a managing director of the Taiwan Internet Governance Forum (TWIGF), a supervisor of the "Taiwan Internet and E-commerce Association" (TiEA), a director of National Information Infrastructure Enterprise Promotion Association (NII), and a director of the Digital Governance Association.
