Work Highlights
DC Master Trust / Product
Trustee adviser to three DC Master Trusts with AUM varying from £3bn to £30bn. Handles all types of business-as-usual queries.
Experienced in DC Master Trust consolidation, having advised on/in connection with four separate acquisitions and subsequent consolidation projects.
Advises various different DC Master Trust providers/scheme strategists on diverse matters such as proposition developments, the impact of legislative change and plans to achieve scale.
Has experience supporting SIPP operators, insurance companies and pension providers regarding product specifications/literature, T&Cs and engagement with FCA.
Advises a number of standalone DC/hybrid schemes, both those continuing to operate and those transitioning to DC Master Trust.
DB
Trustee adviser to a wide variety of DB schemes, ranging from £2bn+ in assets to several million.
Experienced in all types of business-as-usual queries e.g. scheme documentation, scheme funding, governance, disputes etc, as well as project work such as closure to accrual and mergers/de-mergers.
Advised on numerous risk transfer projects for schemes of all different sizes with the full range of insurance providers, including projects where residual risks cover was purchased.
Particular expertise in the use of Scottish Limited Partnerships as an asset-backed funding vehicle and advised on the first to involve IP rights.
