Katharina Hemmen

Dr Katharina Hemmen is a partner and head of POELLATH’s Private Clients practice in Frankfurt. As a lawyer and tax adviser, she advises clients on estate and succession planning, marriage and inheritance agreements, as well as relocation and exit tax matters. A significant focus of her practice is on structuring and advising on complex cross-border matters. Katharina regularly speaks on private client topics at international conferences, including those organised by the International Bar Association (IBA), and serves as Chair of the Executive Board of the LL.M. programme “Inheritance Law and Business Succession” at the University of Münster. Clients value her empathetic and pragmatic approach, combined with strong negotiation skills.
