Kate Elliott

Kate advises clients in relation to complex financial matters involving business assets, inherited wealth, trusts and pension funds. She also has experience in drafting and negotiating pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and has considerable experience in international cases with multi-jurisdictional issues.

Kate regularly advises in cases involving children matters including parental arrangements, parental responsibility, schooling, matters in which there are safeguarding issues and relocation.

Kate encourages, wherever possible, negotiated and agreed solutions that focus on minimising conflict and consider the needs of the whole family, in particular, the best interests of children. She focuses on the strategic issues in each case to help parties find workable long term solutions that help them to move forward with their lives.

City trained and having worked exclusively in specialist family law practices, including two top tier family firms, Kate is regarded as a highly respected family lawyer and mediator. She is a Group Director and Head of our Horsham team.

A member of Resolution and a Resolution Accredited Specialist (Complex Financial Remedies and Private Law Children), Kate is also an accredited Mediator and a Child Inclusive Mediator.
