As head of the Cripps private wealth team in Tunbridge Wells, Kate works with clients and their families to help them achieve their succession planning aims. She also supports charity trustees on all aspects of governance.

Kate is recognised for developing and maintaining long lasting client relationships, to ensures she understands her clients, their motivations and their long term aims, to provide bespoke, client centric advice and solutions.

Advising an international couple (wife French/ husband Italian, both UK resident and domiciled) on their Wills and succession planning, taking into account the EU impacts of the EU succession regulation.

Advising a long standing client on restructuring a series of lifetime trusts.

Working with French advisers to support a client in decisions on inheritance in France and UK legal and tax implications.

Advising the trustees of a charitable Will trust on options for best achieving the deceased’s wishes in the context of available assets.

The creation of new trusts and restructuring of existing family trusts holding family company shares prior to sale of the business.

Advising HNW worth client on appropriate management of their Wills and succession to protect against future claims by a disgruntled beneficiary.
