Katarzyna Bilewska

Katarzyna Bilewska is a partner at BLSK Legal.

With almost 20 years of experience, Katarzyna is a skilled practitioner in handling matters challenging resolutions of corporate bodies, disputes between company shareholders, as well as shareholder-company disputes, and domestic and international court and registry proceedings. She advises companies and investors at the pre-trial stage and represents clients before the courts, combining her expertise in corporate law with practical litigation experience.

In addition to her legal practice, Katarzyna is also a distinguished scholar and professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She previously headed the Commercial Law Department at this faculty from 2017 to 2020.

Katarzyna is committed to developing alternative dispute resolution approaches. She was a key member of the Corporate Arbitration Team of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG) which was established to develop its new corporate arbitration rules in force as from 1 January 2022.

She has authored nearly 200 articles and dissertations on civil and commercial law, demonstrating her deep understanding of these legal areas.
