Karen McGaffey has more than thirty years of experience practicing environmental law. She assists with project development, permitting, and regulatory compliance under federal and state environmental laws. Karen's practice focuses particular emphasis on energy projects and infrastructure development. She has permitted numerous electric generation facilities, transmission lines, pipelines, export terminals, and infrastructure projects. She advises clients on climate policy, sustainability, greenhouse gas regulation, and energy policy matters. Karen also represents clients in environmental litigation, enforcement actions and citizen suits, and she assists with due diligence investigations and environmental aspects of corporate transactions.
