Justinas acts as lead counsel in high-stakes cross-border and domestic commercial litigation and arbitration. He has represented major clients in precedent-setting disputes, including acting for the largest corporate group in the Baltics (EUR 5+ billion turnover) in damage litigation that resulted in the highest-ever damages award in Lithuania’s history – over EUR 100 million.
A Harvard Law School graduate and a member of the New York State Bar, Justinas is one of the few lawyers in the region with this combination, making him a sought-after expert on US-related legal matters.
Justinas has also played a key role in expanding the firm’s financial services litigation practice, including regulatory disputes with the Bank of Lithuania, contractual claims, fraud, and asset recovery. He recently secured a fully favourable preliminary judgment from the Court of Justice of the European Union in the ABC Projektai case, a matter with major implications for the payment and e-money industry across the EU.
Justinas is regularly engaged in complex, multi-jurisdictional matters involving regulatory challenges, financial misconduct, and high-value business disputes.
