Julien Horn

Julien Horn’s practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property and information technology law.

He represents the firm’s clients in litigation relating to patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and related rights, as well as in litigation in the fields of information technology, the internet, cinema and audiovisual. It has also developed particular expertise in the fight against counterfeiting, defining and conducting comprehensive anti-counterfeiting programmes, including in a digital environment.

He also assists the firm’s clients with advice, contractual negotiations and the sale or acquisition of companies with portfolios of intellectual property rights or technological assets.

He advises the firm’s clients on their strategy for building up, managing and defending their trademark and domain name portfolios worldwide.

He is a member of INTA, holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Computer Law and New Technologies (Université Paris-XI, 1992) and teaches intellectual property litigation in the Master 2 “Droit des Créations Numériques” and “Droit de l’Innovation Technique” programmes at Université Paris-XI.

He was named by his peers as “Lawyer of the Year 2013 in Intellectual Property Law” and “Lawyer of the Year 2010 in Information Technology Law” (Best Lawyers Ranking – Les Echos).
