Charles-Edouard Renault advises on and litigates in French and European media, audiovisual and film law, and is therefore directly involved in issues relating to new technologies, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence and developments in new ways of exploiting audiovisual content (VOD platforms, SVOD, issues relating to media chronology, etc.),
Since 2022, Charles-Edouard Renault has also led a working group on the consequences of the war in Ukraine. His work focuses on the implementation of international sanctions and compensation for war damage.

He is also recognised by numerous international rankings as a leading practitioner in his field of Media and Entertainment law (Legal 500 EMEA, Chambers Europe, Media Law International) and in arbitration (Best Lawyers).
