Julian Stanier joined Pinsent Masons in 2017, prior to that he was a partner at two other international law firms headquartered in London. He heads up Pinsent Masons’ Corporate Finance team and has almost 30 years’ experience advising on corporate transactions across a variety of sectors.

As a corporate lawyer, Julian specialises in advising international and UK issuers and investment banks on IPOs and equity fundraisings in London, both on the main market and AIM, as well as internationally. He has vast range of experience of advising the boards of listed companies and directors on corporate governance matters and their legal and regulatory obligations under the UK listing regime, the Market Abuse regime and the Takeover Code.

He also has significant expertise in cross border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, specialising in UK takeovers. Julian has recently been elected to serve a four year term as a non-executive director on the board of Pinsent Masons and has also featured in The Lawyer magazine’s Hot 100.
