Julián has over 12 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on intellectual property, entertainment, technology, and digital business matters.

Julián is also a professor and frequently lectures on topics such as intellectual property, copyright, entertainment law, fashion law, artificial intelligence, and new technologies. He has served as a professor in the Colombian chapter of Harvard Law School's CopyrightX course.

Julián has a strong track record in managing high-stakes disputes related to copyright, trademark, and unfair competition. He also specializes in developing complex enforcement strategies that require urgent injunctive relief.

He regularly advises prominent companies in the entertainment and technology sectors, including audiovisual producers, streaming platforms, record labels, artists, content creators, and digital businesses. His expertise covers structuring and negotiating agreements for music, audiovisual content, sponsorships, image rights, influencer deals, licensing, synchronization, and technology. He also handles rights clearance, royalty issues, and digital enforcement.

In addition, Julián offers guidance on trademark and patent disputes, brand protection strategies, and the management of extensive national and international trademark portfolios.
