Julian Hunt

Julian is a specialist family lawyer with particular experience in resolving complex finance and children cases. Julian's focus is on resolving, not creating conflict, encouraging negotiations and finding solutions. Julian is a Mediator and Collaborative lawyer who will strive to steer clients away from the court process whilst being equally equipped to deal with complex and contentious issues in a calm, focused and if necessary, robust manner.

Julian is the Head of the Family Department at Dean Wilson.

Julian qualified in 1998 and has specialised in Family Law ever since, becoming one of the first solicitors in the area to become a trained Collaborative lawyer. Julian is a trained Mediator.

Julian remains the youngest person to have been elected President of the Sussex Law Society.

Julian is a member of Resolution and a founding member of Brightpod a group of Collaborative lawyers , Sussex Family Solutions an inter-disciplinary network of family professionals and, Lawyers who Mediate.

Julian is a thoroughbred Brightonian with strong roots in the community. Julian is regularly to be found playing cricket and golf around the County and is particularly proud to have coached Preston Nomads U13's to the Sussex Championship in 2015.
