Julia E. Markley is the head of Litigation in Perkins Coie’s Portland office. She has 20 years’ experience representing businesses in disputes involving trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents, non-disclosure agreements, licenses, contracts, and other business issues. Most of her work is in the trial courts, and she has tried to verdict several bench and jury trials. She enjoys working with clients across a range of industries, such as technology, communications, medical device, construction, energy, mining, manufacturing, food, cannabis, and retail. From 2016 - 2020, she served on Perkins Coie’s Executive Committee, the governing body of the firm. In 2019, she received the Daniel K. Inouye Trailblazer Award, the highest honor of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
