Juan Pablo González Mejía

Mr. González worked as an attorney for the firm of Gamba, Barrera, Arriaga & Asociados from 1991 to 1996. Starting in 1997 he served as Legal Vice President of the Bogotá Stock Exchange, where he later held the position of Executive Vice President. As such, he led the integration of the Colombian stock exchanges. Later, as Executive Vice President of the Colombian Stock Exchange, he was responsible for the management of the startup of the Colombian Electronic Market.

Since 2002 Mr. González has advised numerous domestic and international institutions on matters related to financial, securities and corporate law. He was a member of the commission to draft the Securities Market Law under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance.
