Juan Ignacio Fraschini is a lawyer with 15 years’ experience in international tax matters. He has expertise in tax and corporate planning and advises on the implementation of international tax structures, primarily in South America, Europe and the United States.

His experience and high expertise in international tax matters have given him great skill in implementing international structures linked to Uruguay, Mexico, US and Europe.

As carreer highlights, Juan Ignacio has wide experience advising corporate clients, families and family offices in international tax planning, asset protection, estate planning, tax residence, trusts and foundations. He is also an entrepreneur and startup advisor in legal and tax structures, corporate structuring, commercial arrangements, management and governance, raising capital, IP protection

Recently Chambers and Partners has recognized Innovation Tax & Trust (in Band 2) and Juan Ignacio Fraschini (in Band 1) in its HNW- Private Wealth Law Guide 2021, being considered as “probably the most experienced lawyer in Uruguay dealing with international tax and asset protection matters”.

Juan Ignacio has also a wide academic experience, being a recognized scholar of international taxation and currently a Professor on the Postgraduate Program of International Taxation at the University of Montevideo. He is author of several articles and book chapters on issues of international taxation and frequent speaker in conferences in Latin America and Europe.
