Political Law: Joshua Rosenstein practices all aspects of political law. His primary area of focus is on the regulation of advocacy, including advising clients on compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA); the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA); and state and local laws governing the lobbying industry and advocacy activities. He advises corporations, non-profits, candidates, state parties, and individuals on navigating the complex laws impacting the political industry, including government ethics and revolving door restrictions; pay-to-play requirements; gift rules; contracts and commercial law; non-profit law; campaign finance; and general political law issues.
Rosenstein is a member of Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock, P.C. He joined Sandler Reiff in 2012, after a decade of both in-house and private practice in Washington, D.C. From 2007 to 2012, Josh served as in-house General Counsel of one of the nation’s largest fully-integrated lobbying, communications, and consulting firms. Prior to that, he was an associate with the D.C. offices of two major international law firms.
