Career

José Rollemberg has practised law since 1998. He is a partner at Eduardo Ferrão Advogados Associados, where he has worked since 2007.

His career includes extensive experience in litigation and advisory work in Public, Electoral and Digital Law. Before joining Ferrão Advogados, he served as Judicial Officer at the Sergipe State Court of Justice and as Legal Advisor at the Sergipe State Court of Auditors. He also served as Deputy City Attorney for Estância-Sergipe. Additionally, he has academic experience as a law professor specialising in constitutional and electoral law.

Holds a Master’s degree in Law and a postgraduate qualification in Philosophy and Self-Knowledge.He is an award-winning legal author and columnist, publishing on Constitutional and Electoral Law. In 2024, he published URNAS & LEIS – From the First Election to the First Electoral Code. He was decorated as Commander of the Order of Merit of Labour Justice by the Superior Labour Court.
