Founding partner of Finocchio & Ustra Sociedade de Advogados and Professor at Faculdades de Campinas - Facamp.

José Luis Finocchio Junior has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, Bankruptcy and Restructuring. He is the co-author of the research which represents the first Brazilian precedent before the Superior Court of Justice regarding the possibility of Reorganization for rural producers not registered with the Registry of Commerce during the predominant period of their activities and the application of Reorganization to debts incurred prior to registration with the Registry of Commerce.

Coordinator of the Family Business Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives in Campinas (IBEF – Campinas).

Member of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance and the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section.

Member of the TMA – Turnaround Management Association. Member of the advisory board and board of directors of several family companies.

Personal

Finocchio has a bachelor´s degree in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, he attained LLM in International Business Law at Boston University and LLM in Corporate Law at IBMEC, São Paulo.
