José Calejo Guerra

José is one of the founding partners of CCSL Advogados and currently managing partner.

José is a seasoned tax and international investment expert, leading the firm's practice in these areas. He began his career at top law firms in Portugal, focusing on tax consulting and litigation. José then joined McKinsey & Company's Public Sector Tax Practice, serving as an expert consultant.

At CCSL Advogados, José leads the firm's tax and international investment practices, covering a wide range of business sectors. He has a proven track record advising domestic and global clients on the tax implications of their operations and supporting their tax compliance needs. José also works extensively with private clients and SMEs across the jurisdictions served by the firm.

In addition to his advisory work, José acts as an arbitrator for tax disputes in Portugal, leveraging his deep expertise.
