José Antonio Bezada

Specialist in legal advisory on matters related to Competition Law, Consumer Protection, Advertising, Intellectual Property, and Digital Business. Highly experienced in merger control and in the identification and elimination of bureaucratic barriers that hinder the development of economic activities. Also focused on Administrative Law, with particular emphasis on administrative litigation.

Formerly served as Legal Representative of INDECOPI and Senior Advisor to the Executive Board of the Superintendence of the Securities Market of Peru (SMV).

Licensed in Law by Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Completed Master's studies in Law, Business, and Justice at the University of Valencia (Spain), and in Competition and Intellectual Property Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Co-author of Derecho del Comercio Internacional Peruano (Tirant lo Blanch, Valencia, 2022), Manual de Derecho del Consumo Aplicado a los Servicios Bancarios (Palestra, Lima, 2021), and the Ibero-American Yearbook of Social Administrative Law (FIDA), among other publications.
