Partner expert in counsels pertaining to potential cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control, procedures before the Chilean Competition Court, investigations before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office and in the design and implementation of compliance programs. He has specialized in competition law counsels related to the banking, oil, telecommunications, retail, laboratories and energy markets. Global Competition Review and Who’s Who Legal recognized him as one of the 8 future Competition leaders in Chile (lawyers under 45). Chambers and Partners recognized him as a leading lawyer on competition/antitrust. Ignacio also heads the insolvency team of the firm in Santiago, representing both debtors and lenders in local and cross border insolvency proceedings.
