Jordan Messeri brings a compassionate, solution-oriented approach to the full range of matrimonial and family law matters. He advises clients on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, divorce, child custody and access, spousal and child support, same-sex divorce and disputes, and enforcement proceedings. Jordan is also a certified divorce mediator and certified parenting coordinator.
In all of his engagements, Jordan works to identify the most practical, least disruptive resolution consistent with his clients’ goals. In most cases, this results in an efficient out-of-court settlement. In others, Jordan brings substantial litigation experience to bear: he has tried cases and regularly argues motions before courts throughout the New York metropolitan area, and has successfully appealed errant trial court rulings to the Appellate Division.
Jordan’s clients span a wide range of fields, including venture capital, private equity, private business ownership, hospitality, cryptocurrency, law, medicine, and entertainment. They value his straightforward, no-nonsense approach, which cuts through the noise and moves matters toward resolution.
Before co-founding KSTM, Jordan was a partner alongside Valentina Shaknes in the matrimonial group at McLaughlin & Stern LLP. He previously practiced at Blank Rome, where he worked alongside all of KSTM’s other founding partners.
