Jonathan Wyatt

Jonathan is Kennedys’ Australian Managing Partner and a senior member of the insurance team based in Perth. Jonathan has more than 25 years’ experience in insurance and marine matters and is regarded as one of WA's leading lawyers. His areas of expertise include:

- Transport claims, including marine insurance

- Financial line claims

- First party property

- Casualty including product liability claims

- Regulatory investigations and white collar crime

- Local Government claims

Jonathan acts for international and domestic insurers, mutuals, local governments, commodity exporters, ship owners, and freight forwarders. He acts and has acted in a number of high profile disputes.

Jonathan is qualified in Australia, Hong Kong and England & Wales. He has wide international experience and has handled cases in the English and Hong Kong courts, as well as in the High Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of WA. He has also handled arbitrations in Australia, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
