John Jeffreys

John has many years of experience in restructuring and insolvency matters primarily in the non-contentious corporate field. He acts for companies, their directors, insolvency practitioners, surveyors taking appointments as receivers, lenders, insolvency practitioners, private equity investors and debt funds.

John has significant experience of dealing with distressed real estate advising lenders and office holders primarily but over the years of his practice has experience of a wide range of sectors from automotive and manufacturing to healthcare provision and charities. Latterly John has been involved in some high profile assignments in the hospitality and leisure sector where notable assignments include:

• The administration of The Deltic Group of Companies and the REKOM group, the largest late night venue operator in the UK;

• The administration of the D&D London Group, an international chain of over30 high end restaurants;

• The administration of Black Sheep Brewery;

• The administration of Vinoteca, a London wine bar chain;

• The administration of Purity Brewery and Pure Bar, a well known Midlands brewery business; and

• Most recently, the administration of the UK TGI Fridays
