Joseph (Joe) Abberton is the lead partner in Lavan’s Deals team, as well as the head of Lavan's Corporate division and co-head of Lavan's Mining and Resources Industry Group.

Joe is an experienced corporate lawyer, and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Joe’s main focus is large transactions in the resources industry, consistently using his impressive range of contacts (national and international) to bring opportunities to clients and make the transactions he works on the most successful they can be. Joe specialises in distressed M&A, special situations, and complex control transactions.
