Ms. Jingjing Tong holds an LL.B. from China University of Political Science and Law and LL.M. degrees from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She specializes in international trade remedies and export supply chain compliance, with extensive practical experience. She is listed in the Beijing Bar Association’s Talent Pool of Foreign-Related Lawyers.

Over the past decade, she has led or deeply participated in more than 100 anti-dumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard investigations initiated by dozens of jurisdictions, including the European Union, the United States, and Australia, etc. These cases span a wide range of industries—such as steel, aluminum extrusions, tires, chemical products, photovoltaic goods, fiberglass, ceramics, and food—enabling her to develop solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise, and helping Chinese exporters achieve outstanding results in trade defense proceedings.

In recent years, Ms. Tong has focused on tracking evolving international trade legislation. She closely monitors and conducts in-depth research into legislative changes and enforcement practices in major economies like the U.S. and the EU. She has demonstrated exceptional capability in addressing emerging regulatory challenges, having successfully led or deeply participated in multiple European Commission investigations under the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation, managed numerous supply chain compliance matters affected by the EU Deforestation Regulation, and provided precise legal advice to numerous companies navigating supply chain compliance issues arising from the U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).

Additionally, Ms. Tong has frequently provided international trade legal consulting services to China’s Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), various chambers of commerce, industry associations, and corporate clients. Her professionalism and rigorous approach have earned her high recognition and trust, contributing to the alignment of China’s trade law practice with international standards. She has also delivered lectures for local governments and trade associations in Shandong and Zhejiang provinces to enhance enterprises’ capacity to manage international trade risks, and teaches in the foreign-related lawyer training program at Jilin University Law School, equipping students with practical skills and a global perspective.
