Practice Areas

Jillian E. Merns is a partner in the Private Clients Group. Jillian’s practice involves all aspects of estate planning and administration, with an emphasis on the development of sophisticated plans for high-net-worth individuals and their families. Jillian’s practice includes the preparation of complex wills, trust agreements and related instruments, general counseling of clients on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax matters as well as the administration of decedents’ estates and trusts. She works with many single- and multi-family offices to provide comprehensive solutions to the complex issues facing today’s wealthiest families.

Jillian is the chair of the Next Gen Trusts and Estates Group of the UJA-Federation of New York. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
