Since he began practicing, Jie has handled hundreds of antitrust matters, including significant cross-border work for some of the world’s biggest and most well-known companies. In the private sector, prior to joining DaHui, Jie worked at Allen & Overy for several years, where he represented clients in numerous complex antitrust matters and provided practical, business-minded legal advice to both multinational and Chinese clients.

His services cover all stages of investment, including project investment structuring, project investment, capital restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, exits (including IPOs and other listing methods), and more. Jie’s clients include institutional investors of all sizes, private equity investors, and various important participants, such as government-led funds, state-owned investors, seed investors, promotional investors, fund managers, and advisors.
Jie has been involved in the equity investment projects of many well-known domestic and international USD and RMB funds and represented many domestic startups in their equity financings. Crucially, Jie has an in-depth understanding of the problems that Chinese companies often encounter during their domestic and international financings and investments, as well as the solutions for these problems. He has extensive experience in RMB funds, USD funds, parallel structuring, and cross-border investment funds involving multiple jurisdictions.
