JESSE KEAN has extensive experience leading a variety of transactions for open-end and closed-end investment companies, including complex fund mergers and the registration of currently active funds under the Investment Company Act and the Securities Act. His experience includes the launch and ongoing representation of global, emerging market, and U.S.-focused funds with a variety of market capitalizations, as well as ESG funds, liquid alternative funds, multi-asset funds, index funds, target date funds, money market funds, ETFs, sector-specific funds, smart beta funds, and credit funds, certain of which use unique strategies, derivatives, and offshore subsidiaries. Jesse also has experience counseling the independent trustees of such funds.
