Jennifer St. John Yount

Jennifer St. John Yount is the chair of the Paul Hastings Finance and Restructuring practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. While she has a strategic focus on alternative lenders, private credit, direct lenders, finance companies, and alternative and specialty lenders in both cross-border and U.S. focused transactions, Ms. Yount also represents a wide range of traditional banks and investment banks.

Her work for both banks and nonbanks includes acquisition financing, working capital, and distressed credit and restructurings, and she has negotiated interlender arrangements in numerous uni-tranche, multi-tranche, and multi-lien financings. Ms. Yount has industry expertise in a variety of business sectors. Ms. Yount is a thought leader in the finance industry and speaks widely on the market challenges facing both traditional and nonbank lenders.

She regularly participates on panels for prominent finance associations and is widely recognized in the market as a leading lawyer.
