Jeffrey Luszeck is a partner at the firm, where he focuses his practice on trust and estate litigation, business and commercial litigation, power of attorney litigation, fiduciary litigation, estate and trust administration, and guardianship matters. Jeff has represented a broad spectrum of clients—including agents, beneficiaries, creditors, executors, fiduciaries, heirs, principals, trustees —in complex disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty, breach of trust, decanting, undue influence, capacity challenges, unjust enrichment, fraud, forgery, and other contested business, trust and estate matters.
Jeff is also active in appellate practice and has successfully argued before the Nevada Supreme Court, including in a landmark ruling, Klabacka v. Nelson, 133 Nev. 164, 394 P.3d 940 (2017), that confirmed Nevada is a favorable jurisdiction for establishing domestic asset protection (spendthrift) trust due to its strong creditor protection laws and lack of statutory exception for creditors, even alimony and child support obligations. Drawing on his experience in Klabacka, and similar matters, Jeff has challenged and defended numerous domestic asset protection (spendthrift) trusts, particularly in the context of divorce and multijurisdictional proceedings.
A locally and nationally recognized leader in his field, Jeff has numerous publications and speaking engagements on trust and estate, fiduciary and power of attorney law, and has received professional honors for his contributions. Specifically, Jeff has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent® rating since 2016, has been named to Super Lawyers since 2020. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for Litigation – Trusts and Estates, and Trusts and Estates since 2022.
Jeff currently serves as Co-Chair of the Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar of Nevada’s Legislative Committee, and was instrumental in the Nevada Legislature enacting SB 404 during the 2025 Nevada Legislative Session.
