Javier Ordoñez Namihira

Javier Ordoñez Namihira has more than 17 years of experience in the practice of tax law with a strong international focus. He joined Baker McKenzie, Mexico City in 2004 and he was assigned to practice from the Baker McKenzie Miami office (2018 - 2019). He is a frequent speaker at national and international seminars.

Javier focuses on the legal aspects of international tax consulting from a corporate Income Tax and VAT perspective. He is proficient in legal interpretation and application of tax treaties, in the analysis, design and implementation of corporate restructurings, in the advice on taxation of the digital economy, and in the formation of investment funds in a tax efficient manner. He regularly advises high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of international tax planning matters from a wealth management perspective.
