Jania Baigent

Jania is a member of the firm's Board of Management. She is one of New Zealand’s leading litigators, specialising in insurance, product liability, privacy and media law.

She acts on major commercial cases involving complex contractual, tortious, fair trading and intellectual property disputes. She has extensive experience acting for insurers to defend and resolve claims and policy coverage issues across a range of industries.

Jania works with clients to protect private or confidential information, and advises on digital content liability, defamation, harmful digital communications, privacy, and other corporate reputation issues.
