Dr. Jane M. Love is a first-chair litigator sought after for cases involving complex life sciences issues. Jane has deep experience in Hatch-Waxman and Biologics litigation, as well as trade secret, contract disputes, including exigent cases involving preliminary injunctions. Jane routinely litigates in district court, before the Federal Circuit, and the PTAB. Jane leads the Intellectual Property Litigation and Life Sciences Practice Groups at Gibson Dunn. Jane represents pharma and biotech clients and her Ph.D and post-doctoral experience are a material advantage in handling cases in complex areas such as antibody technology, genomics, chemistry, and complex dosing methods. . Jane is a nationally recognized leader in life sciences patent litigation and has prevailed in multi-billion-dollar disputes, leading trial teams, and making new law defending those rulings. Jane provides strategic patent advice to public and private clients and in the context of corporate transactions. Jane has a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell Medical School in Pharmacology before attending law school. She served as a Captain, and Company Commander, in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Service Corp from 1991 to 1997.
