Career
Jan Andrusko brings over 25 years of experience leading major domestic and cross-border transactions, with a standout track record across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Now based in London as Perkins Coie’s Head of M&A for Europe, Jan continues to advise clients with the deep regional knowledge and commercial insight that have made him a trusted adviser in the CEE market.
Jan has particular expertise in the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors, where he is known for delivering strategic, business-focused advice. He regularly works with global and regional private equity firms, infrastructure funds, and major technology, telecoms, media, and energy companies on complex M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and other strategic deals—especially those involving unique regulatory and market challenges in CEE.
His experience in the CEE media and telecoms space is especially notable. Jan has advised many of the region’s top broadcasters, media agencies, content producers, and digital platforms—not only on transactions but also on corporate structuring, competition law, employment, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.
Jan also brings rare executive experience to his legal practice. From 2011 to 2013, he served as CEO and Executive Director of Nova Group, a leading television and media company in the Czech Republic. This hands-on leadership role gives him a unique understanding of the commercial pressures his clients face, enabling him to offer practical, grounded advice.
At Perkins Coie, Jan is proud to lead the European M&A practice and supports the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion—both within the firm and in client partnerships.
