James’ practice is exclusively focused on the construction industry. He regularly assists clients in all sectors of commercial construction across all project phases, from transactional inception with contract drafting and negotiation, continuing through project execution advising on claim and risk management, as well as post-project dispute resolution in mediation, litigation, and arbitration.
James represents both domestic and international clients, with representation focused on general contractors across various project delivery methods on both public and private projects, including on data centers, airports, industrial manufacturing, stadiums, high-rise towers, energy generation, and many others. James believes in a proactive approach focused on efficient, early dispute resolution to save client resources. When the situation demands it, James zealously prosecutes his clients’ claims and defends against hostile claims in litigation and arbitration. James has experience in dispute resolution in courts and arbitrations across the country.
