Partner at Russi & Eguiguren | Quadrant, leading the corporate team, focusing his practice on advising local and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset and company purchase negotiations, project development, partnership or joint venture agreements, capital markets, commercial law, corporate law, infrastructure project bidding, and general practice. He has experience in regulated markets such as the water utility industry, ports, logistics, and waste management, among others.

He has over 20 years of experience in domestic and international law firms, as well as in the public sector. He has led various mergers and acquisitions of companies of various sizes, project financing processes with local and international banks, capital markets transactions, bond issuances, and advised on corporate governance and commercial contracts.

Led the legal team advising Grupo Aguas Nuevas in the bidding process for the operation and maintenance of a desalination plant in Tocopilla, Chile, and in the drafting and negotiation of the Operation and Maintenance Agreement in conjunction with the project sponsors (Marubeni Corporation and Transelec Holding Rentras Limitadas).

Provided ongoing legal counsel to Grupo Aguas Nuevas S.A. (a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation) in various mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of Aguas Décima S.A., Nueva Atacama S.A., and Empresa Eléctrica Cavancha S.A.

Advised Grupo Ambipar on obtaining secured financing from BTG Pactual S.A. for the acquisition of industrial land and the financing of an industrial waste recovery plant.

Led the process of buying and selling waste management companies in Chile and Colombia by Grupo Ambipar from 2022 to 2024.

Advised DP World Holding UK, a subsidiary of Dubai Ports World, a holding company owned by the State of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, on the acquisition of 71.3% of Puertos y Logística S.A., controlled by the Matte family, through a tender offer totaling USD 502 million. Puertos y Logística S.A. is the parent company of Puerto Central S.A., the concessionaire of a pier in the port of San Antonio, and of Portuaria Lirquén S.A., which operates a port of the same name in southern Chile.

Advisory to debtors in the negotiation and drafting of secured financing and/or VAT financing agreements for energy and construction projects, as well as advisory in the negotiation and drafting of credit facility agreements, loan agreements, and other related agreements.
