Jae Hee Kim is currently a partner at Shin & Kim LLC and focuses his practice on international commercial arbitration, WTO and FTA trade disputes, international investment disputes, and trade remedies.
Mr. Kim has extensive experience representing domestic and foreign companies and funds in disputes across a wide range of industries and achieving the best possible outcomes. He has also represented the Korean government and companies in trade disputes and trade remedy investigations around the world, including disputes in the WTO, etc.
Mr. Kim graduated from Dartmouth College and received his J.D. from Seoul National University School of Law, Korea. He also holds a master's degree (LLM) from Columbia Law School. Prior to joining Shin & Kim LLC, Mr. Kim served as a public-service advocate.
Mr. Kim has authored articles on various legal issues in the field of international disputes and has participated as a speaker or panelist in domestic and international seminars, and has been recognized as a Leading Individual in the field of International Trade by leading international publications such as Chambers Global and Chambers Asia-Pacific. Mr. Kim has also been awarded the Minister’s Commendation by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for his contribution to the development of the Korean trade sector.
