Jacek focuses his professional activity on transactions, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate advisory.

Jacek has extensive experience in managing, structuring and negotiating all types of transactions, including share and asset deals, investment and shareholder agreements, and joint ventures. Jacek works for private equity, venture capital and corporate clients from various sectors of the economy, both on sell- and buy-side. Jacek also specializes in structuring and implementing complex corporate reorganizations, including mergers, spin-offs, and transformations. He advises on commercial law, corporate governance, management compensation and corporate compliance. Jacek also supports his clients in the area of transaction insurance (W&I insurance) representing both, insurers and the insured.

Due to his past experience in a consulting company, Jacek combines legal expertise with thorough understanding of tax and financial aspects of transactions and corporate reorganizations.

Career

Jacek started his professional career in 2007 in PwC. In 2010 Jacek joined a transaction team of the Warsaw office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges and moved on to Baker McKenzie in 2017. In 2019 Jacek co-founded BCGL where he co-heads the corporate/M&A team.
