Director of the Compliance department at BCP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in legal and social sciences from the Universidad de Chile. He has a master’s degree in criminal law from the same institution and a diploma in Corporate Compliance from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He also holds a bachelor's degree of accountant auditor from the Universidad San Sebastián. Certifications obtained: ISO 37.301:2021, Compliance Management Systems.
He has worked as an attorney on various complex cases related to criminal law and leads the Compliance Unit at BCP Abogados. Previously, he served in the Prosecutor's Office as an assistant prosecutor, consulting prosecutor, and chief prosecutor of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Economic and Corruption Crimes in the Center-North Public Prosecutor's Office.
In the academic field, he has been a professor for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Universidad Central and the Universidad Católica del Norte.
He has several publications related to his area of expertise, including "El Ministerio Público como Sujeto Procesal" in "Reforma Procesal Penal. Doctrina y Jurisprudencia" VVAA; "Algunos Tópicos Actuales del Delito de Robo en Lugar Habitado" in Gaceta Jurídica N° 302, 2005; "El Delito Flagrante" in "Revista Procesal Penal" N° 1, Sept. 2002; and "Tratamiento penal del contrato simulado" published by Santiago, Editorial Legal Publishing Thomson Reuters in 2013.
