Íñigo Sagardoy de Simón has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1992.
He started his academic education at the ICADE Law School, and later attended the University of Alcalá de Henares, where he gained a PhD in Law. He then went on to complete a Master’s in Employment and Labour Law and Social Security (ESINE) and a Master’s in Humanities, both from the Francisco de Vitoria University.
Íñigo has also received international education. In 1998, he completed the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School and, in 2002, the Course on Leading Professional Service Firms at the Harvard Business School.
As a result of his research work, he received the honour of being appointed Corresponding Member of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
His professional standing has led to him becoming Vice President of ARHOE (National Commission for the Rationalisation of Working Hours) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Círculo de Empresarios (Businessmen Association).
He is also a Professor of Employment and Labour Law at the Francisco de Vitoria University and a regular speaker at several training programmes held at the Sagardoy Study Centre.
He has held the Chair of Employment and Labour Law at the Francisco de Vitoria University since 2018.
Íñigo is the author of numerous informative articles on labour law and social security matters.
