Dr. Ingy Badawy is Founding Partner and Head of M&A Group, and an active member of the Arbitration Group. Consistently recognized as a leading lawyer, problem solver and a deal maker. Specializes in M&As, and is recognized for her exceptional skills in drafting and negotiations of all contracts necessary in any M&A transaction, particularly SPA’s, JV and/or shareholders agreements, subscription, management, escrow, business transfer, and merger and restructuring agreements.

Plays a key role in major cross border transactions, acquisitions, IPO’s and private equity funding transactions in various fields of activities, including health care, education, energy, banking&finance, FMCG and various industrial sectors.

Provides Egyptian and multinational clients with valuable general corporate advice as well as ESG particularly in relation to Environmental Law.

She has overseen the development of the M&A Group, leading to its being recognized for its expertise and quality of services.

Obtained a BSC in Law, Cairo University (1992), a master’s degree, Institute of International Business Law, Cairo University (1994), a master’s degree (D.E.S.S.) in Litigation and Arbitration, University of Paris II Assas (1996), and a Ph.D in International Arbitration, University of Paris I Sorbonne (2001).
